Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) will depend on your flight schedule. Once you land, you will go through immigration and customs procedures. After clearing, a friendly FIF Tours driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals area, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. You will then be assisted with your luggage and transferred to a comfortable, private vehicle for the journey to Arusha.

The drive to Arusha takes approximately one hour and offers scenic views of the Tanzanian landscape. If the weather is clear, you may catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. This gives you time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the days ahead. Dinner and rest at the hotel will ensure you are refreshed for the start of your safari adventure.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

6:00 am: You'll be picked up from the hotel in Arusha/airport.
8:00 am: You'll enter Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen bathing in the Tarangire River. Look out for other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and occasionally cheetahs and leopards. With over 500 bird species, Tarangire offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. Keep an eye out for the vibrant yellow-collared lovebird and the striking lilac-breasted roller. The park's landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees and vast savannah plains, creating picturesque views throughout your game drives.

12:30 pm: You'll have a picnic lunch in the park.
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm: You'll continue exploring Tarangire and spot more wildlife as you venture deeper into the park.

5:30 pm: You will drive to your hotel in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

7:00 am: You will depart for Serengeti National Park (approximately 5 hours).

12:30 pm: You will have a picnic lunch en route.
1:30 pm: You will continue a transfer and wildlife viewing, spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife.

6:00 pm: Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

1:30 pm: You will continue wildlife viewing.

3:30 pm: You'll ascend the crater and transfer to Arusha (approx. 3 hours drive).
