Tarangire National Park Game Drive

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha for a drive to Tarangire National Park.
The park is famous for its dense elephant populations and large baobab trees.
The landscape features the Tarangire River, which serves as a permanent water source that pulls thousands of animals to its banks.
​Enjoy an afternoon game drive looking for large herds of elephants, migratory wildebeests, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. After a picnic lunch inside the park, you will head to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater floor Exploration

Set off early in the morning to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic caldera hosting a dense concentration of wild animals. This destination functions as an ecosystem offering wildlife viewing across open savannahs, lush forests, and soda lakes.
​Spend the day exploring the crater floor with good chances of witnessing the Big Five, including the black rhino. You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls later in the afternoon to return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

Wake up early for a fascinating cultural day on the shores of Lake Eyasi, a seasonal soda lake known for its rich indigenous history. You will spend the morning with the ancient Hadzabe Bushmen, learning about their traditional bow hunting techniques, wild food gathering, and unique click language that has survived for millennia.
​Afterward, visit the Datoga tribe, skilled pastoralists and blacksmiths, to observe their traditional metal-crafting methods and rich home life. After an insightful cultural exchange and a hot lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge or exploring the peaceful landscapes around the lake before dinner.

Mto wa Mbu Cultural Village Walk & Local Food Experience

Head to the village of Mto wa Mbu for a walking tour through local banana plantations, rice fields, and traditional workshops. This guided walk offers a look into daily Tanzanian life, showcasing how different tribes live and work together.
​During the day, you will have a local food experience where you will sample traditional Tanzanian dishes prepared by a local women's community project. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha for a drop-off at your hotel or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your safari.
