Day 1

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel/ residence or airport, depart from Nairobi early morning (around 7:00 am), and drive southeast through the scenic landscapes of Kajiado County, passing through small towns and Maasai homesteads along the way, arriving at Amboseli National Park around midday in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, famous for its stunning views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and its elephants.

Afterward, return to Ol Tukai Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Optional: Early morning: Balloon Safari over the vast savannah of Amboseli at sunrise for breathtaking aerial views of its wildlife.

You will have an early morning Breakfast, then head out for a full-day Game Drive with a picnic Lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by stunning scenery with a chance to see herds of elephants, lions, wildebeests, and many others, as well as Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. You will have an optional visit to a Maasai village to have a glimpse into the vibrant culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, relax as you reminisce on your wonderful experience, bid farewell to the Amboseli National Park, and begin the journey to Lake Naivasha, enjoying the views one last time through the park as you exit. Arrive in Lake Naivasha by midday for lunch and check-in at your accommodation. After lunch, head out towards the lake where you will enjoy a boat ride to spot hippos and a variety of bird species. Visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife in a peaceful, vehicle-free setting.

Later, you will return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, you may opt for an exciting visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can enjoy a bicycle ride, a walking safari, or a hike through the dramatic Hell’s Gate Gorge. Alternatively, cycle to the park for a closer exploration on foot, spotting wildlife along the way. (Please note: These activities are optional and incur an additional cost.)

Later, a short 1-hour drive brings us to Lake Nakuru National Park, where we’ll arrive in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to a vibrant array of birdlife, including thousands of flamingos, pelicans, and other species. Lake Nakuru also shelters black and white rhinos, lions, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, and more, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and journey to the Maasai Mara. Renowned for its unspoiled beauty, the Maasai Mara National Reserve offers abundant wildlife, prolific birdlife, and the chance to spot all members of the Big Five in a single morning. Spanning 1,800 square kilometers, the reserve features a classic African landscape of golden grasslands, lilac-hued hills, winding rivers, thorny bush, and endless wilderness.

Game viewing in the Maasai Mara is exceptional year-round, with a diverse array of resident wildlife, including the Big Five, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and gazelles. In the afternoon, enjoy an introductory game drive to explore the park’s incredible biodiversity. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, relax as you reminisce on your wonderful experience, bid farewell to the Masai Mara, and begin the journey back to Nairobi at around 10:00 am, enjoying one last drive (with the pop-up roof closed) through the reserve as you exit. You will have lunch en route to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or the Airport, marking the end of your trip with us.
