As soon as you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by a driver who will then transport you to the hotel. Here, you can relax. Depending on your arrival time, you may spend some time exploring Kampala city's main attractions like the Gadhaffi mosque, Buganda palace, Amin's Torture chambers, local markets, and so many others.

Day 2
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Today, you'll go to Lake Mburo National Park, the park is famous for its large herds of zebras, and recently, groups of giraffes were transferred to the park. You will have a stop at the equator for a photo moment and a geographical experiment. You'll check in at your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you'll proceed for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will be guided and shown around as you enjoy wildlife like crocs, hippos, with many other birds. In the evening, you can opt for an evening nature walk or a bicycle tour in the park (This activity can be paid for from the park).

After breakfast, you'll head out for a morning game drive, with endless chances of getting deep into the park to explore its unique whispers. You'll spot numerous park residents like zebra herds, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and diverse bird species. After the game drive, you'll return to the lodge for lunch, refresh, and check out. You'll head to the hills of Kisoro, driving through winding roads, and arrive at your lodge near Mgahinga National Park in the evening.

Golden Monkey Tracking and Relaxation on Lake Mutanda
You'll start this day with a Golden Monkey trekking tour in Mgahinga National Park. You will be transferred to the briefing Centre by your guide. Afteward, you will enter the forest with a guide for a golden monkey tracking adventure.
After the trek, you'll drive back to the lodge for lunch. The entire afternoon is spent at leisure, or visit Lake Mutanda for a boat/canoe ride in the evening.

You'll wake up for breakfast and later drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You'll drive on the winding roads of the Kigezi region with incredible views of terraced hills. The journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will take about a 2-hour drive, but it is dotted with stunning and magical landscapes. You'll arrive and check in at your place of accommodation.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll take part in a gorilla trekking adventure where you will visit one of the gorilla families in Bwindi for an hour. This will be done on foot. Briefing will commence at the offices of the park, followed by penetrating into the jungles with park guides who will take you to the location of these great apes. You'll spend a maximum of an hour in their presence and after trek back to the lodge for another afternoon community excursion.
The Batwa community experience will reward you with knowledge about how these people used to live in the forest, admire their traditional music and dances, handicraft making, and fire making traditionally. You will thereafter head back to the lodge for dinner.

You'll get up early for an adventurous game drive around Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive passes through the Ishasha sector, which is known for tree-climbing lions. You'll get a chance to spot the lazy cats as they rest in the fig trees. Then, you'll continue to the northern section of the park, where you will check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have a morning game drive to catch up with the early risers, such as lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, and vultures. Other animals that may be spotted include elephants, buffalo, and different antelopes. During the game drive, you'll also visit some of the craters and salt lakes that are within the confines of the park.
After the game drive, you'll have lunch before heading straight to the Kazinga Channel for the afternoon boat cruise, which lasts for about 3 hours. This is another adventure of your lifetime. You'll spot crocodiles and hippos in the waters of the Kazinga Channel. After this, you'll immediately proceed to the lodge to check in.

Today, after breakfast, you will drive for about 2 hours to Fort Portal town. Upon arrival, you will visit the King’s Place (Tooro Kingdom) and the Karambi tombs. You will learn about the history and the culture of the Batooro people.
After lunch, you'll visit the historical Amabeere G’anyinamwiru, stalactites, and stalagmites in the Nyakasura area and drive to your lodge for checking in.

You drive to the visitors' Centre in the park for a briefing. Then the walk starts in the rainforest, the walk can be quite heavy, and it lasts for about 3 hours. You'll take good shoes and long pants plus a rain jacket. There will be a lot of time to listen carefully to see if you can hear the chimps; the rangers are trained in this, so chances are that you will find the chimps!
After the chimp trek, it is time for lunch and a walk through the lush Bigodi wetland. During this walk, you'll spot many different birds and perhaps some monkeys.
If you still feel like a walk, then you can go to "top of the world", where you have beautiful views over the area with a number of crater lakes.

You'll leave Kibale forest and head to North Western Uganda, passing via Hoima and Buliisa districts. This park is a famous home of the world's most powerful waterfall on the River Nile and forms a rainbow where water squeezes itself in the narrow gorge.
You will notice that the park is divided into two parts by the River Nile, making the northern part being a savannah and the southern part being a woodland forest. You'll arrive and check in the northern part for easy movement in the morning for the game drive.

Discover the beauty of Murchison Falls National Park through taking these two main activities. The game drive will be conducted in the morning. It takes about 2 hours of full exploration with a stopover at the hippo pool for breakfast of either fruits or tea. While on this game drive, expect to meet different antelopes such as Bushbucks, Oribis, waterbucks, among others.
Other animals are the lions, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, leopards, olive baboons, and many more. You'll head for a boat cruise that will take you to the bottom of the falls. This will be another soft adventure in your lifetime. You'll have an option of hiking to the top of the falls or taking a drive, depending on your choice. You'll head to the booked lodge for your accommodation.

After breakfast, it is time to travel back to the city. Together with the guide, you drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you go on a rhino trekking expedition in search of the endangered southern black Rhinos! Ziwa Sanctuary is the only place where rhinoceroses can be visited in Uganda, following their extinction in the 1980s.
The trip to Ziwa sanctuary takes about 2 - 2.5 hours. After lunch, you'll proceed on a drive to Kampala, where you check in at your lodge. Later at night, you can opt for a nightlife experience.

After breakfast, you'll have a tour around the city; visit local markets, Old Kampala Mosque, Lubiri palace, Amin torture chambers, and the craft market for souvenir shopping. Depending on the scheduled outbound flight, you will be driven to the airport, marking the 14-day Uganda budget safari.
