Durban to Phinda Private Game Reserve

Guests will be picked up from the airport or a pick-up point in Durban and the surrounding areas. The duration of the drive is between 3.5 and 4 hours. Upon arrival at Phinda Mountain Lodge, you can enjoy some refreshments and relax until it is time for the afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, with sundowners and snacks along the drive. Take along the complimentary pair of Swarovski Optik binoculars for the best views of elusive animals.

Back at the lodge, a scrumptious al fresco dinner awaits in the traditional stone and reed boma illuminated by dozens of candles and lanterns.

Game Drives & Bush Walks

Rise early each morning for a hot drink before you depart on the morning game drive, during which you can enjoy a bush cappuccino rendezvous between searches for animals. You can also swop one of the morning game drives for an exhilarating bush walk with your aptly qualified and expert guide.

Back at the lodge, you can savour brunch before relaxing until high tea in the afternoon. Your afternoon game drives will follow the same pattern each day, rounded off by traditional dinners in the lantern or candlelit boma.
