At 0730hrs you will be picked by our professional driver/guide from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport and embark on a journey of 5 hrs approx 320 km to Samburu National Game Reserve. Proceed on a scenic drive via the central highlands of Kenya with a stop at a large local market and the Equator. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in this semi -arid wildlife reserve and then an overnight at your Samburu safari lodge. At Samburu game reserve you will expect to see Elephants, Zebras, Bufallos, Warthogs, Antelopes, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali ostrich etc.

Spend entire day at the Samburu game reserve with extended game viewing drives to Shaba and buffalo springs reserves. More game in this scenic and arid reserve is concentrated along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro river and Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Oryxs and other animal species may be seen. Meals and overnight at your Samburu lodge as you anticipate for the next days activities.

Day 3

Samburu- Aberdare National Park

Samburu- Aberdare National Park

After your morning breakfast you will check out of your accommodation and the go for a game viewing drive at the Samburu game reserve and proceed south to the Aberdare national park which is about 5 hrs drive. On arrival you will check into
your accommodation which tree hotels provide spectacular viewing perches for night game viewing. The game is attracted by the waterholes and salt licks around the lodges. Game drives at the salient are optional (extra cost). You will have dinner and an overnight at your Aberdare Tree lodge for relaxation. You will expect Bird watching, photography, Trekking, game viewing at Aberdares National park.

Day 4

Aberdare- Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha

Depart the Aberdare and proceed to the Lake Nakuru on a scenic drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the scenic waterfalls. At Lake Nakuru National Park, the few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of colour and that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer. Because of the wildlife viewing here, it's easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species and you’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffes, white Rhinos especially along the lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black Rhino and you have to get your camera ready. Later continue to Lake Naivasha for an overnight at lake Naivasha lodge where you will see a few Flamingos, Pelicans, White Rhino, Black Rhino, Waterbuck, Baboon cliff, 56 mammal species and unique vegetation.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha- Masai Mara

After an early morning breakfast you will check out of your accommodation and proceed for a morning boat safari to explore this exotic freshwater Rift valley lake where you will see hippos, exotic birds and small game. You will also take a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. Later you will embark on a 5 hr approx 240 km drive to the incredible Masai Mara game reserve which is home to the big five and more. You will go on an afternoon game viewing drive in this spectacular reserve which will introduce you to its splendours. You will then check into your accommodation at your Masai Mara safari lodge for dinner and evening relaxation to have the much needed rest the following days activities.

After an early morning breakfast we shall head out for a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. We might catch the annual( July – October) migration where millions of wildebeest, zebras and other herbivores across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of fresh grazing and water. This epic trek, spans across Kenya and Tanzania driven by the seasonal rains and is known for its dramatic river crossings and the sheer scale of the moving herds. Overnight and dinner will be at your safari lodge.

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, your dedicated driver/guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi Kenya’s capital city. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “. You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) or drive straight back to the capital. Our driver will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your onward travel or at your accommodation which can be arranged at an extra cost.
