Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha) you will be met by The Habitat Adventures Travel’ representative and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approximately 149 km (926 mi) & 25hrs drive)

Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will have a short briefing before you depart to Tarangire National Park. The park with its endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Your guide will open the roof of the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing. Hot Lunch will be served at around 12:30pm at the picnic site and after that you will continue to explore this incredible park.
In the evening after exploration, you will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Start your day from your lodge near Tarangire and head to the beautiful Endoro Falls in Karatu for a scenic hike through lush forest trails. Enjoy the fresh air, birds, and views of the waterfall. After the hike, head to your lodge in Karatu for a hot lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge, taking in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for an overnight stay in the charming town of Karatu.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, at around 8:00 am, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point that has a built pavilion that provides a nearly 180° view of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will then descend into the crater which is 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20km-diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail.
This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals including a wide range of bird species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. A hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool. Later, you will drive to the heart of Serengeti National Park with an en-route drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Full day game drive inside Serengeti National Park
Full day game drive inside Serengeti National Park
Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am or according to your preference, you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive. The park offers a multitude of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Hot lunch will be served inside the park at around 12:30pm with some soft drinks and unlimited drinking water. You will have an unlimited drive until in the evening where you will drive straight to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
After breakfast at your accommodation in Serengeti, you will finalize your game drive in the park. After lunch you will proceed with a final game drive in the afternoon. At around 3 pm, you will drive to the gate and head for your accommodation in Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7
Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Activities to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport
Mto Wa Mbu Cultural Activities to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast in Karatu, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu, a lively village known for its mix of cultures. Here, you will enjoy a guided cultural tour where you can visit local farms, taste fresh banana beer, see traditional homes, and meet local artisans. You may also enjoy a local lunch prepared by a women’s group. After the activities, you will drive to Arusha or the airport for your departure flight.
