Flight to Mikumi and First Game Drive
Begin your adventure with an early morning hotel pick-up in Zanzibar or Arusha, followed by a transfer to the airport for your 06:30 hrs domestic flight to the mainland, arriving around 07:00 hrs. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and journey in a 4×4 safari vehicle along the scenic Morogoro–Mbeya Highway toward Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 5–6 hours. Stop en route for a picnic lunch or dine at a local restaurant before reaching the park. After completing entry formalities, enjoy your first game drive through Mikumi’s rich wildlife zones. By late afternoon, check in at your accommodation Camp Bastian or a similar lodge where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Morning Safari and Return Flight
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, the perfect time to witness wildlife at its most active. Afterward, return to your lodge or camp for a hearty breakfast before heading out for another game drive through the park’s expansive savannahs, continuing until late morning or around noon. Exit the park and begin your return drive through Morogoro and Chalinze to Dar es Salaam. In the early evening, board your flight back to Zanzibar or Arusha, arriving in time for dinner and a relaxing evening at your hotel.
