Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive to explore different areas of Nyerere National Park. Your experienced guide will lead you through diverse habitats in search of predators and large herbivores while sharing fascinating insights into the park's wildlife and ecosystems. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic or hot lunch before continuing your afternoon safari. Return to camp in the evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend another peaceful night surrounded by nature.

Bush Walk – Maasai Village Tour – Sunset Boat Safari

Begin the day with a guided bush walk (approximately 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM) led by an armed park ranger and experienced guide. Learn about animal tracks, native plants, birds, and the smaller details of the African wilderness while exploring on foot.

After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai Village (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM) to experience the traditions, customs, dances, and daily lifestyle of one of Tanzania's most iconic tribes.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at camp before departing for a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji River (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM). Cruise along the river to observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species as the sun sets over the water, creating spectacular photographic opportunities.

Return to camp for dinner and your final overnight stay.

Flight Back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to the nearby airstrip for your scheduled morning flight back to Zanzibar. Enjoy beautiful aerial views of Southern Tanzania before landing on the island.

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel, marking the end of your memorable Nyerere National Park safari.
