Day 1

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Depending on your location in Kampala/Entebbe, you will meet your safari guide and transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south western part of the country, it's about 8-9 hours’ drive with en-routes stopover at the Uganda Equator where you will be able to take photographs and visit the craft shop, proceed with lunch en route. On arrival to the park area, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Gorilla trekking experience and Batwa community tour

Gorilla trekking experience and Batwa community tour

Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge.
Later afternoon, go for a Batwa community experience to the community. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive

After having breakfast early morning, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-a home to the tree climbing lions. This is about 4 to 5 hours journey from Buhoma Bwindi impenetrable national park en-route stop for lunch and game drive to spot the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Upon arrival, late evening with en-route game viewing, connect to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Lion tracking/Game Drive in Kasenyi area and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Lion tracking/Game Drive in Kasenyi area and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

After breakfast, go for an early morning game drive and lion tracking in the Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, Lions, buffalos, antelopes, impala, among others and a lot of birds and a good day the leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch.
Connect for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The Kazinga channel is known to have the highest concentration of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the evening and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 5

Chimpanzee tracking - Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure

Chimpanzee tracking - Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure

After breakfast early in the morning, drive to Kalinzu forest for chimpanzee trekking experience before transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe. You will depart for Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest with your tracking gears. The walk in the forest in search of the chimpanzee generally takes around 2‐5 hours. Spend an hour with the chimpanzees.
After tracking, meet your driver and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe. It's about 6 -7 hours’ drive with en route lunch. Arrive in Entebbe, you will be dropped at own booked accommodation or at the airport for your onward flight back home. End of 5 Days Safari.
