As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your representative from Tiem Tours and Safaris will greet you with a big smile: 'Karibu Tanzania Hakuna Matata - welcome to Tanzania! No Worries' The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. The next day your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace.

Day 2

Materuni - Arusha

Materuni - Arusha

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Moshi town and driven to Materuni Village, where you'll register and begin your 40-minute hike to the waterfall. The hike takes you through lush vegetation, offering potential views of Mount Kilimanjaro. At the waterfall, you can swim in the natural pool and enjoy the scenery. The tour also includes a coffee experience, where you'll learn about coffee cultivation, harvesting, roasting, and tasting, along with a traditional Chagga lunch. Later in the late noon you will be transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Arusha -Tarangire -Mto wa mbu

Morning: Enjoy an early breakfast then drive direct Tarangire National park for a full day game drive. Tarangire National Park is well known for its big groups of elephants and the huge amount of giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals! You’ll have a Picnic lunch in the park.

Lake manyara -Karatu

After breakfast, drive from Mto wa Mbu to Lake Manyara National Park, home to tree climbing lions, for a half-day game drive. In the early afternoon we proceed with a forest hike, then drive back to town and have a local lunch. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast drive through Ngorongoro conservation area on your way to Serengeti National Park as it is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of the Great Migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast number of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you. Are you ready for this?

Morning; after breakfast, you will be able to visit Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to Arusha. There you will get a chance to see the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world, with its steep walls, which is home to incredible scenes of natural drama daily, as prey and predators graze and stalk their way around the open grasslands in such proximity that it truly feels like a Garden of Eden.
Departure: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward schedule.
