Our expert driver will pick you up bright and early from your hotel in Zanzibar and whisk you away to the airport for a flight at around 06:00 Am to the stunning Nyerere national park, also known as Selous Game Reserve. From there, its off to explore the vast and diverse Selous Gr, where you’ll be surrounded by some of the most incredible wildlife and pristine nature you’ve ever seen. Keep your eyes peeled for African wild dogs, which Selous is famous for, and let our expert driver-guide show you all the secrets of this incredible ecosystem. After a full day of adventure you’ll be treated to a bush lunch from a safe vantage point with stunning view of the wildlife around you, then you’ll be transferred to the lodge where a delicious dinner and a cosy overnight stay waits for you.

Walking Safari, Village Tour and Evening Boat Safari

Early in the morning, before breakfast, you’ll head out on an exciting walking safari led by a professional guide and armed ranger, allowing you to discover the smaller wonders of the bush up close. After the walk, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and enjoy some time to relax. Later in the morning, embark on a cultural village tour to experience the local way of life and interact with the community. Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch, followed by leisure time. Around 4:00 p.m., set off on a peaceful evening boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you’ll witness hippos, crocodiles, and stunning birdlife as the sun sets over the water. After the cruise, you’ll head back to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Fly Back Zanzibar Island

Early in the morning, you will enjoy breakfast at the lodge before being transferred to Mtemere Airstrip inside the park for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for drop-off.
