Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where a friendly Tapestry of Africa host will greet you and escort you to your Nairobi hotel. After a long international journey, you’ll have time to relax, settle in, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to enjoy dinner at the hotel or take a short excursion to a nearby Nairobi attraction. Your evening is at leisure, with the excitement of the wild calling just around the corner.

Into the Wild – Game Drives & Cultural Encounters in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you'll transfer to Wilson Airport for a short, scenic flight to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your safari Lodge or Camp driver and taken to your luxury camp or lodge for lunch and a rest before your first afternoon game drive in an open-sided vehicle. The Mara's golden plains stretch endlessly, teeming with wildlife and dramatic skies

Over the next two days, enjoy unforgettable morning and afternoon game drives across the savannah in search of the Big Five. You’ll also take part in a guided walking safari and visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their time-honored way of life. In the evenings, unwind by the campfire, share stories with fellow travelers, and fall asleep to the rhythm of the African bush.

Day 5-6

Fly to the Shadows of Kilimanjaro-Amboseli

This morning, board a flight from the Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park, located in Kenya’s southern region near the Tanzania border. Upon landing, your safari Lodge or Camp driver will greet you and transfer you to your lodge with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch and a rest, head out for a game drive in an open-sided 4x4, where you may encounter large herds of elephants silhouetted against Africa’s tallest mountain.

Spend the next day exploring Amboseli’s wide-open terrain, home to giraffes, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, and over 400 species of birds. The scenery here is unforgettable, and your open-sided vehicle offers exceptional photography opportunities. Between drives, enjoy downtime at the lodge and take in the peaceful ambiance and stunning views.
