Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will be picked up by our guide driver and he will brief you before you set off hopefully you will arrive early in the morning. The journey is to the north (6-7 hours) to Murchison Falls National Park. We shall stop at the top of the falls as we head to the hotel.

After breakfast, we shall have the morning game drive in the northern sector of the park (expect lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, leopards) and then go back to the hotel to rest and have lunch before going in the afternoon boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls.

Day 3

Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park

After early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest (7-8 hours drive). On your way you will Enjoy scenic views of the Albertine Rift, crater lakes and tea plantations en route before Arriving in the evening at the lodge and relax at your lodge in the evening as we get ready for our trekking next day.

Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

In the morning after breakfast you will go for the morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Expect to see other primates such as red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys. Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. Cultural encounter possible with local community.

Early after breakfast we shall departe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (6–8 hours). Drive through the scenic Kigezi Highlands, also known as the "Switzerland of Africa." We shall arrive in the evening and prepare for next day's gorilla trekking experience.

Early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters. You will join a briefing group before heading into the forest with guides. You will spend 1 hour with a gorilla family after tracking them (can take 2–6 hours depending on location). In the afternoon you can relax at the lodge or optional village/community walk.
