Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Pick from your hotel in Dar Es Salaam earlier morning and drive to Nyerere National Park which was known as Selous you will arrive there at the hotel in the afternoon for your lunch. Late afternoon go for boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River.
You will discover the Rufiji River by boat, and encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 1000 bird species have been recorded in the Selous Game Reserve. These are typical of miombo woodlands, predators birds and the bird water supported by Rufiji swamplands is of particular interest.

Full-day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. Explore the vast wilderness in a 4x4 safari vehicle as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and many other species. The park is also rich in birdlife and offers beautiful views of rivers, plains and woodlands. Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the park, then continue your wildlife viewing adventure until late afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
