On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by an Odyssey Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation; spend the remainder of the day at leisure to get acclimated for your upcoming safari adventure. Day 2

Explore Nairobi

Today, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and its pioneering orphan’s project. Meet the little ones as they return from foraging in the bush, ready for their milk feed.

The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Karen Blixen Museum

The Langata Giraffe Center

After lunch, visit the Karen Blixen and Giraffe Center, which is the home of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, where you will have the opportunity to interact with these gentle giants. Return back to your city hotel after a full day exploring the city of Nairobi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve

This morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kalama Airstrip in Samburu. Upon arrival at Kalama Airstrip, you will be greeted by our dedicated tour guide, who will take you to Larsens Camp with a game drive en route.

Drive into the park, arriving in time for lunch. Upon arrival at the camp, enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by some relaxation at this luxurious camp. Later this afternoon, set out on a game drive in search of the rare wildlife only found north of the equator. The enchanting Samburu National Reserve provides excellent year-round game viewing, including a chance to encounter the ‘Samburu five' reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, & Grevy’s zebra. Stop for sundowners to observe the sun setting over the African plains. Return back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Explore Samburu

Explore Samburu

Dawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day before the dew is off the grass. We’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands.

Afterwards, you'll return to the camp for lunch and some relaxation. At around 3:45 PM, you'll head out once again for an exciting afternoon game drive. This craggy, rugged region unfolds a romantic, awe-inspiring safari experience. Captivating Samburu elephant herds saunter over this game-rich reserve, and big cats prowl through thick acacia forest. Return to the camp at around 6:45 PM for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5-6

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today we will travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 400-square-kilometer safe haven for wildlife, including rhino, situated in the Laikipia region of Kenya. Ol Pejeta is home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and, conversely, the last two northern white rhinos in the world.

There are numerous black rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, Grevy's zebra, giraffe, cheetah, Thomson's gazelle, Grant's gazelle, black-backed jackals, ostrich, baboons, waterbuck, oryx, eland, and more. Birds will not disappoint, with several hundred species present on the conservancy.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll transfer to Kamok Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Ol Kiombo Airstrip in Masai Mara National Reserve. You’ll arrive at Entim Camp just in time for a delicious lunch. Nestled in the heart of the reserve, this intimate camp offers stunning views of the Mara River and provides an excellent vantage point for observing the reserve’s abundant wildlife. After lunch, take some time to relax and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the camp, soaking in the sounds and sights of the African wilderness.

In the late afternoon, set out for your first Masai Mara game drive. The reserve is world-famous for its incredible biodiversity and is home to the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll return to Entim Camp. Enjoy a delectable dinner under the stars, sharing stories of the day’s sightings with fellow travelers.

Today, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out for an exciting morning game drive in the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, celebrated for its abundant wildlife and picturesque landscapes. As you traverse the vast open plains, be on the lookout for the majestic lions lounging in the grass, stealthy leopards hidden among the trees, and swift cheetahs chasing prey across the savannah.

At noon, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness. Surrounded by the serene beauty of the savannah, you’ll have time to relax and absorb the breathtaking scenery, perhaps spotting wildlife passing by in the distance.
