You'll embark on an early morning transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours through Uganda’s picturesque countryside. Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland

The day begins with an early breakfast before heading out for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. Guided by experienced rangers, you'll trek through the lush forest in search of our closest relatives, the chimpanzees. You'll witness their playful behavior and social interactions in their natural habitat. After your trek, you'll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a guided nature walk. You'll spot various bird species and other wildlife, enrich your experience, and learn about the local ecosystem. You'll return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and enjoy a leisurely lunch while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, you'll consider a guided nature walk to explore the area’s rich flora and fauna, or simply relax at your accommodation. This day serves as a transition, preparing you for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience that awaits you the following day.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the dense rainforest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas.
