Dar es Salaam to Nyerere | Boat Safari at Sunset

Morning at 07:30at Pick-up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and Begin your journey to Nyerere National Park via Kisarawe road (approx. 5–6 hours)
01:30 PM – Arrive and check in at Selous River View Lodge for lunch and short rest.
Evening at 04:00 PM Embark on a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji River
Spot hippos, crocodiles, birds, and possibly elephants or buffalos at the riverbank
06:00 PM – Return to lodge for dinner and relaxation

06:30 AM – Early heavy breakfast and packed lunch
07:00 AM – Depart for full-day game drive inside Nyerere NP
Explore savannah, lakes, and woodlands
Look for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, and rare wild dogs
Afternoon at 12:30 pm stop for Picnic lunch at a designated spot inside the park
01:30 PM – Continue afternoon game viewing
04:30 PM – Exit the park and return to lodge for Freshen up and unwind
06:00 PM – Evening Reflection with Guide
Before dinner, meet with your guide for a short discussion about the day's wildlife, learn about animal behavior, and preview the next day’s walking safari.
07:00- 07:30PM – Dinner served at the lodge.

Village Bushman Walk - Return to Dar es salaam

Today at 06:00 Early morning tea/coffee at the lodge.
06:30 AM – Depart for a unique “Bushman-style walking safari” led by a local village guide
Walk through the bush outside the park boundary
Learn how local people read animal tracks, use medicinal plants, and survive in the wild
Your guide wears traditional attire and shares insights in a fun, educational way
Accompanied by village scouts (local security) for safety
08:30 AM – Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast
09:30 AM – Begin drive back to Dar es Salaam, Expected arrival in Dar es Salaam between 2:30 - 3:30 pm and Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
