Day 1

Start your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and drive to Marangu Gate, the entry point to Kilimanjaro National Park. After registration and a safety briefing, begin your scenic trek through the lush rainforest towards Mandara Hut (2,720m), with chances to spot monkeys, birds, and unique plants. Upon reaching Mandara Hut, enjoy a packed lunch and optionally hike to Maundi Crater for stunning views. After resting, descend back to Marangu Gate and return to your hotel by evening, with optional cultural or coffee plantation stops along the way.
