We spent six days on a private luxury safari with Oldbeast Vacations by Mwanne, flying from Zanzibar, and it was beyond our expectations. From start to finish, everything was seamless, luxurious, and expertly planned.
Our guide Paul was the highlight of the trip. He is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and patient. He read the land, anticipated animal behavior, and positioned us perfectly for sightings without disturbing the wildlife. His explanations made every encounter meaningful.
We watched lion cubs playing, a leopard resting in a tree, elephants marching with their calves, giraffes feeding at sunset, and zebras racing across the plains. In Ngorongoro, we spotted a black rhino grazing peacefully and observed hippos and lions near the water. The night game drive in Tarangire was thrilling, with Paul helping us identify nocturnal animals safely.
Our accommodations were comfortable and perfectly located, including Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu, Serengeti Safari Lodge, and Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, which allowed us to maximize wildlife viewing. The hot air balloon over the Serengeti was magical, and visiting a Maasai community added a cultural touch.
This was more than a safari; it was a personal, expertly guided journey through Tanzania’s wild beauty. Thanks to Paul, it was unforgettable.

Our 6 day private safari with Oldbeast Vacations was beyond anything we imagined. It was intense, exciting, and filled with real wildlife action from start to finish.
Everything was perfectly organized by Mwanne, who ensured our private safari was smooth, personalized, and stress free. Having our own vehicle allowed us to fully enjoy each sighting without time pressure, making the experience even more special.
Our guide Bernard was exceptional. His knowledge, patience, and incredible spotting skills made a huge difference. Thanks to him, we were in the right place at the right time to witness unforgettable scenes. We saw lions stalking and launching an attack, watched them feeding, and spent precious time observing a pride with adorable cubs playing and interacting. These raw and natural moments made the safari feel like a real wildlife documentary.
We were fortunate to see all of the Big Five during our trip. Each game drive was long and rewarding, with plenty of action and breathtaking encounters throughout the day.
The safari vehicle was comfortable, reliable, and ideal for long hours in the bush, offering great views and a smooth ride across different terrains.

After a magical game drive in the Serengeti, we returned to our lodge to find our room decorated with flowers and a handwritten congratulatory note waiting for us. Four Days That Felt Like a Lifetime in the Wild with Oldbeast Vacations
We chose a 4-day private luxury safari with Oldbeast Vacations because we had limited time, but somehow those four days felt full in a way we didn’t expect. From the start, Mwanne made everything easy. He explained things clearly, answered every small question, and gave us the feeling that we were genuinely cared for, not just booked into a program.
Our guide, James, was incredible in a quiet, confident way. On our first drive we saw elephants moving slowly between baobab trees, calves tucked safely between the adults. Later that same day, we came across giraffes feeding calmly while zebras and wildebeest shared the plains around them. Nothing felt forced. James would stop the car, turn off the engine, and just let the moment happen.
Each day brought something different. One morning we watched a group of lions finishing their meal, bellies full, completely relaxed. Another time, a leopard appeared out of nowhere, walking gracefully through the grass before disappearing into the trees. We saw buffalo in huge numbers, hippos packed tightly in the water, warthogs running with their tails straight up, and playful baboons climbing over rocks near the road.
The luxury lodges were the perfect balance after long game drives. Hot showers, comfortable beds, good food, and quiet evenings listening to nature outside. Sitting on the terrace at sunset, watching the sky change colors, felt just as special as the wildlife sightings.

A Private Safari That Touched Our Hearts
Our 9-day private luxury safari with Oldbeast Vacations, Mwanne the trip specialists expert and guided by John, was truly unforgettable. Every day felt like a gift, full of surprises and quiet moments that touched our hearts.
We began in Tarangire, where elephants slowly crossed the rivers after an early morning rain, and giraffes grazed gracefully nearby. In the Serengeti, we saw lions resting on kopjes, a leopard climbing a tree with her cub, and cheetahs chasing across the golden grass. John had a natural sense of timing, pausing just long enough for us to fully absorb each magical sighting.
