Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

After breakfast, your Safari Moja Matata guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll drive through the scenic highlands toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in time for a game drive inside the crater.

Descend 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, where you’ll search for the Big Five and observe dense wildlife, including rhinos, lions, hippos, and flamingos along Lake Magadi.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, then continue exploring the lush floor before heading to your lodge on the rim or nearby for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart from the Ngorongoro area and drive toward the legendary Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive across the Ngorongoro highlands with optional stops at Maasai villages or Olduvai Gorge (extra cost).

By midday, you’ll arrive in the Seronera region, heart of the Serengeti, rich in wildlife and known for year-round game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and if lucky—leopards.

Arrive at your midrange tented camp in time for sunset, dinner, and a peaceful night in the wild.
