Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Nanyuki. From there, a scenic road transfer takes you to Asilia Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, located in the heart of the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Settle into camp and head out on your first afternoon game drive — this is one of the best places in East Africa to see both black and white rhino, along with elephant, lion, and possibly even wild dog. The day and night game drives are included in the package, there are additional activities that can be added, chat to us for options.

Day 2

Spend the day on game drives through this Big Five conservancy. Aside from being a beacon in sustainable conservation, the 400 km2 Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts one of the greatest game-to-area ratios of any reserve in East Africa and the highest population of black rhino. From evergreen thickets to gnarled acacia forests, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp offers a diverse range of habitats to explore. The Big 5 can all be found in the area, alongside some of the rarer northern species of Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, the locally threatened Jackson’s hartebeest and, of course, the majestic black and white rhino. The area also offers excellent birding opportunities with over 200 migrant and resident species in a great ornithological gathering that ensures excellent sightings.

Day 3

Fly from Nanyuki to the Mara ecosystem, where you’ll be transferred to Asilia’s Encounter Mara Camp in the exclusive Naboisho Conservancy. This conservancy boasts some of the highest densities of lion in East Africa, along with frequent sightings of leopard, cheetah, giraffe, elephant, and vast herds of plains game. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive and sundowners on the savannah.
Day and night game drives are included, there are activities such as village visit or balloon safaris that can be added.

Day 4

The wildlife viewing is excellent year–round, and this, combined with the comfort of the camp and its excellent environmental credentials, means there are few more rewarding places than Encounter Mara to experience this slice of the Kenyan wilderness. Enjoy a full day of exploring Naboisho’s rich wildlife landscapes. The conservancy’s low vehicle density ensures intimate sightings, and off-road driving allows for thrilling close-up encounters. You may track a cheetah hunting, witness elephant herds crossing the plains, or spend time watching a lion pride in golden light.

Day 5

After a final morning in camp, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Wilson Airport. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred by road to Nairobi International Airport for your onward journey — taking with you unforgettable memories of Kenya’s wild heart.
