Arusha to Tarangire NP

A full day in Tarangire National Park starts early in the morning after breakfast, with a drive from your lodge usually from Arusha. The drive takes about 2 to 3 hours, and you enter the park around mid-morning. Once inside, your game drive begins, taking you through the park’s open savannah, woodlands, and river areas. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds, huge baobab trees, and wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many species of birds. Around midday, you’ll stop at a picnic site inside the park for lunch, where you can enjoy your meal while surrounded by nature. After lunch, you’ll continue exploring different areas of the park, often spotting more animals coming to drink at the Tarangire River. The wildlife viewing is especially rich during the dry season when animals gather around the river. In the late afternoon, you begin your drive back, arriving at your lodge.

You drive from your Lodge to the crater rim, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the vast, green caldera below. Then you descend into the crater for a game drive, spotting a wide variety of animals such as lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and rhinos in their natural habitat. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by stunning scenery. After more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, you head back up to the rim and return to your hotel by early evening. The crater offers a unique chance to see a large concentration of wildlife in one amazing setting.

A full day in the Central Serengeti begins early in the morning after breakfast, as you set out on a full-day game drive through one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. The area is known for its endless plains, rich wildlife, and year-round predator sightings, especially lions, leopards, and cheetahs. As you drive across the vast savannah, you’ll also spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras, particularly during the Great Migration season. Around midday, you’ll take a break for a picnic lunch at a designated site, surrounded by breathtaking views. In the afternoon, you’ll continue exploring different areas such as the Seronera River Valley, where animals gather to drink, offering excellent photo opportunities. The wildlife activity remains high until late in the day, and you’ll return to your lodge or camp by early evening, ending a thrilling and action-packed day in the wild.

This area is rich in wildlife and offers a great chance to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The early hours are the best time to see predators active before the heat of the day sets in. You’ll explore key areas like the Seronera River, where many animals gather to drink. After several hours of wildlife viewing and possibly a short coffee or snack break in the bush, the game drive ends around midday as you return back Arusha.
