Johannesburg to Pilanesberg

5:30 AM–6:30 AM: Comfortable pickup from Johannesburg in a comfortable airconditioned vehicle owned & operated by MoAfrika. Enjoy a quick stop for beverages, snacks & toilet use during the 2 to 2.5-hour drive.

9:00 AM: Arrive at Pilanesberg & depart on a 3hr morning game drive in our superior open vehicles, fully operated by MoAfrika Tours & led by top-tier rangers selected for their expertise. Our radio-linked communication ensures
prime wildlife sightings, such as the Big Five!

12:00 PM: Arrive at Tlou Tented Safari Camp (4 km from the park gate) for a delicious lunch & check-in. Unwind in your comfortable en-suite tent, take a dip in the new swimming pool or relax by the boma.

4:00 PM–7:00 PM: Join an open-vehicle sunset game drive, in superior open vehicles, chasing golden sunsets & wildlife. Return for an authentic South African dinner in the beautiful boma, by a roaring campfire, featuring local dishes such as braai, boboti & hearty stews for a true taste of the region.

Morning: Spend time relaxing at Tlou Tented Safari Camp, lounging by the swimming pool, soaking in the natural ambiance of your en-suite tent with fan cooled comfort, or opting for a short ranger-led walk (incl, subject to availability).

12:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp, followed by free time to explore the surroundings, relax by the pool, or unwind in your tent.

4:00 PM–7:00 PM: Depart on another open-vehicle sunset safari conducted by MoAfrika in superior open vehicles, for more opportunities to spot the Big Five & other wildlife under the golden African sky. Return for another authentic South African dinner in the boma, featuring local specialties like braai, bobotie hearty stews, enjoyed by the campfire.

12:00 PM: Savor a delicious lunch at the camp, followed by free time to relax by the pool, explore the camp’s surroundings, or enjoy the cultural ambiance of the Bagatla tribal lands.

4:00 PM–7:00 PM: Depart on a final open-vehicle sunset game drive, conducted by MoAfrika in superior open vehicles, to capture more unforgettable wildlife moments. Return for another authentic South African dinner in the boma, featuring local dishes like braai, bobotie & hearty stews, enjoyed by the campfire.

2:00 PM: Depart Pilanesberg in a MoAfrika Tours vehicle, with a quick comfort stop for beverages, snacks, and toilet use during the 2 to 2.5-hour drive back to Johannesburg, arriving between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
