Today, you will be picked from your hotel or airport by our professional team, drive to Kibale Forest national park. Our guide will take you through this journey viewing various attractions along the way with towns, local people's daily life, farms and scenic beauty of western Uganda. As you approach the forest, visitors are welcomed by crater lakes situated along park and the park with tropical rain forests giving you a cool breath.

Upon arrival, relax at the lodge as you prepare to visit the local community near your lodge. Lead by the local guide, walk to Bigodi community, and you will be welcomed by happy faces of the local people who will engage you into their daily activities like waving baskets, cooking and making local beer.

Day 2

On this day, have an early jungle breakfast and head to the information center for a short briefing. With the armed guided rangers, embark on your journey to the forest to track the chimpanzees, you're not just visiting a rainforest, you're stepping into a storybook. Kibale forest thrums with wildlife life, and the air feels electric. It's Africa's primate capital, and with over 1,500 chimpanzees, you're practically guaranteed incredible sightings. Unlike gorillas, chimps are always on a move basically on search for food. You'll hear them hooting, see them feasting, grooming each other they are of energy. Their resemblance to humans will leave you speechless.

Later after chimps, transfer to queen Elizabeth national park via the same route viewing beauty after beauty including Rwenzori Mountain ranges as you approach Kasese district, have a stopover at the equator line and witness the 0 degrees latitude, and then proceed to kazinga channel or an evening boat ride for wildlife viewing.

Day 4

The day is today, wake up early morning for breakfast, have a packed lunch or snack and your drive will drop you at the information center for a briefing and join other trekkers in a gorilla family. You will be handed walking sticks and incase of any assistances needed, the porters are always available for hire at a small fee of $20, they help in carrying the bags and lay a hand in steep slopes.
Guided by expert trackers and armed rangers, you will vanish into the jungle. The trek could take 2-7 hours, but when you finally see gorillas, lock eyes with a mountain gorilla, watching a family play and groom each other; this is a moment that will change your life, have 1 hour watching them in their natural habitat and create memories.

Visit the ancient Batwa people also known as forest people, sing and dance their tunes and participate in their local activities and listen to their survival stories while in the forest. Later drive to bunyonyi for another thrilling encounter.

Early morning after breakfast, experience unforgettable canoe ride to some specific historical islands on lake Bunyonyi for example Akampene[ punishment island] a traditional island where pregnant unmarried girls were left to die, Bwama[leper’s] Island, bushera island well known for local brewery and many more. Later after this thrilling adventure, drive back to Entebbe or Kigali for the next adventure. END.
