Meet your professional safari guide for a briefing about the trip and Akagera National Park.

Embark on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park (approximately 3 hours), passing through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside.

Afternoon:

Check in and enjoy a delicious lunch at your lodge, soaking in the serene wilderness atmosphere.

Relax briefly, perhaps taking in the views or spotting wildlife near the lodge.

Evening:

Head out for a captivating boat ride on Lake Ihema, one of the park’s highlights.

Glide along the water, observing hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork and African fish eagles.

Return to the lodge as the sun sets, with the sounds of the wild surrounding you.

Enjoy a leisurely dinner and spend the night listening to the calls of nocturnal animals.
