Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Koi Travel representative and transferred to your comfortable hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to unwind and shake off jet lag, or head out for a short excursion to the nearby Giraffe Centre or a cultural experience at Bomas of Kenya. In the evening, you will enjoy a relaxed dinner at your hotel and a briefing on the exciting days ahead.

Journey to the Land of Giants

After an early breakfast, you will depart Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, a journey that takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by a thrilling afternoon game drive. Amboseli is known for its large herds of free-ranging elephants and striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains. As the sun sets behind Africa’s highest peak, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Exploring the Magic of Amboseli National Park

Today is spent exploring the stunning landscapes and rich wildlife of Amboseli. You'll head out for an early morning game drive, when animals are most active, and marvel at the variety of wildlife — including lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of bird species. Midday offers a chance to relax at the lodge or enjoy views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from your terrace. Later in the afternoon, you'll head back out for another game drive before returning for dinner under the stars.

From Kilimanjaro to the Rift

After breakfast, you'll begin your scenic drive north through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake set in a beautiful volcanic landscape. You'll arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll glide past pods of hippos and an array of birdlife. You may also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll enjoy breakfast by the lake before continuing your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After settling in, you'll head out for your first game drive across the rolling plains of the Mara. This reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, with chances to spot the Big Five and witness dramatic predator-prey interactions. You'll return to the lodge in the evening, where a warm dinner and campfire ambiance await.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll spend a full day immersed in the wonders of the Masai Mara. You'll head out with picnic lunches for a full-day game drive, venturing deep into the reserve in search of lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. Between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration — a breathtaking spectacle of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River.
