Journey to the Land of Giants

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, a journey that takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by a thrilling afternoon game drive. Amboseli is known for its large herds of free-ranging elephants and striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains. As the sun sets behind Africa’s highest peak, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Exploring the Magic of Amboseli

Today is spent exploring the stunning landscapes and rich wildlife of Amboseli. Head out for an early morning game drive, when animals are most active, and marvel at the variety of wildlife — including lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of bird species. Midday offers a chance to relax at the lodge or enjoy views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from your terrace. Later in the afternoon, head back out for another game drive before returning for dinner under the stars.

From Kilimanjaro to the Rift

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive north through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake set in a beautiful volcanic landscape. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll glide past pods of hippos and an array of birdlife. You may also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
