Zanzibar to Serengeti

You’ll touch down at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 am, where your safari guide will be waiting to welcome you with a packed picnic lunch. Without delay, you’ll set off on your first game drive through the Serengeti. Around 1:00 pm, you’ll pause to enjoy your lunch surrounded by the wild beauty of the park. Afterward, the adventure continues as you track down Serengeti’s iconic big cats and grazing herds. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Safari Haven Camp.

Serengeti game drive

After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you’ll head out for a full-day safari adventure across the Serengeti. This vast, iconic landscape is truly captivating, while parts of it feature woodlands, seasonal swamps, and savannah thickets, the heart of the Serengeti is its endless grassy plains. Witness the awe-inspiring sight of massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles on their great migration, a powerful natural spectacle as they journey north, navigating open plains, facing crocodile-filled rivers, and evading relentless predators. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch right in the wild, then continue exploring until evening. As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll return to camp to relax by the bushfire and enjoy your overnight at Serengeti Safari Haven.

Serengeti to Zanzibar

Following an early breakfast, you’ll check out and say goodbye to the camp as you begin your final game drive through the Serengeti. It’s one last chance to soak in the magic of the wild and perhaps catch a glimpse of any animals you may have missed. Later in the morning, you’ll head to Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable Serengeti adventure.
