Day 1-3

Welcome to Africa - Journey to the Legendary Masai Mara

Welcome to Africa - Journey to the Legendary Masai Mara

Your journey begins as you’re picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and set off on a scenic drive through Kenya’s Rift Valley toward the legendary Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch surrounded by sweeping views of the savannah. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you may catch your first glimpse of elephants, giraffes, or even a pride of lions as the sun begins to dip below the horizon.

Over the next two days, rise early for morning game drives, when the wildlife is most active and the golden light makes for unforgettable photographs. Return to your camp or lodge for lunch and a bit of rest—perhaps with a dip in the pool—before heading back out in the late afternoon to explore different areas of the reserve. Each day offers new surprises, from dramatic wildebeest crossings (seasonal) to quiet moments watching hippos in the river or cheetahs stalking the plains.

Onward to the Iconic Serengeti

After breakfast, set out toward the Isebania border, taking in scenic views of rural Kenya as you journey west. After passport processing and lunch near the border, continue into Tanzania where the landscapes subtly shift and the wild spirit of the Serengeti begins to unfold. Your afternoon drive through the park will double as a game drive, with sightings of zebras, antelope, and possibly even predators as you make your way to your lodge in time for dinner.

Spend the next two days exploring the vast, untamed beauty of the Serengeti. Mornings start with game drives under the soft light of dawn, when the plains awaken with life and energy. You’ll return for lunch and relaxation at your camp before heading out again in the afternoon. From massive elephant herds and toweringly graceful giraffes to elusive leopards and thrilling lion sightings, the Serengeti delivers a cinematic wildlife experience few places on Earth can match.
