Spend a full day on game drives across the rich plains of Masai Mara. Explore different parts of the park in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. During the migration season (July–October), witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. A picnic lunch in the bush adds to the experience. Arrive at Amboseli in the late afternoon and enjoy a short introductory game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Check in at your lodge or tented camp and relax for the evening.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives. The park offers some of Kenya’s best wildlife photography opportunities, with elephants often silhouetted against Kilimanjaro’s snowy peaks. Visit Observation Hill for sweeping views of the plains, swamps, and wildlife below. You may also encounter lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and numerous bird species. Return to your lodge in the evening for a relaxed dinner under the stars.

Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, passing through volcanic hills and savannahs. Visit Mzima Springs, where you can view hippos and fish through an underwater observation chamber. Explore more of the park in the afternoon, including the Shetani Lava Flow and the chance to spot red elephants, leopards, and a wide variety of birds. Overnight stay in Tsavo West.
