Your journey begins with a scenic morning flight from Zanzibar to the heart of Nyerere National Park. Upon landing at the remote bush airstrip, your safari guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge or tented camp located inside the park, deep within the untouched wilderness. After check-in and a relaxing lunch with views of nature all around, head out on an exciting afternoon game drive. Explore Nyerere’s diverse habitats—home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and an abundance of birdlife. As the day cools, witness animals gathering at waterholes and predators becoming more active. Return to your lodge for a freshly prepared bush dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Later, set off on a night game drive, using a spotlight to search for elusive nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, genets, civets, and bush babies. End the night with a peaceful sleep in the heart of the park, immersed in nature.
