Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport, from where you drive to Amboseli National Park.

You will arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp. Then, have a hot lunch and time to rest. At 4:00 pm, you'll depart for an afternoon game drive.

The highlight of Amboseli is the remarkable concentration of elephants, the largest in the world! It is home to over 1600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at your lodge/camp.

Guided Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.

You can have a relaxed breakfast. Then, you'll depart for a full-day game drive, leaving the lodge/camp at around 7:30 am. You will have your picnic lunch, which you will enjoy during the day. In the afternoon, you'll return to the lodge/camp.

Alternatively, you can depart at 6:00 am on an early morning game drive. You'll return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and relax until midafternoon. Then, at 4:00 pm, you'll depart on an afternoon game drive. At 6:30 pm, you'll return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Amboseli-Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park

You will depart Amboseli after breakfast. Your destination today is Lake Nakuru National Park. You will stop for lunch on the way after the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Then, you'll proceed to the famous boat ride at Lake Naivasha. You will reach the Park in time for an afternoon game drive. You can expect to see buffalo, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and the lions that prey on them, as well as vast flocks of flamingos clustered near the lake shore.

Lake Nakuru is famous for having the highest concentration of flamingos in the world and is home to over three hundred bird species. It is a sanctuary for both the black and white rhinos.

Also found in plenty are zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and warthogs. Leopards are sometimes seen sleeping on the horizontal branches of the “Fever trees”. Dinner is at our lodge overlooking the lake.

Your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will travel through the Masai country, occasionally coming across Masai herdsmen with their livestock living harmoniously with the wildlife.

After lunch at your residence lodge, you will relax till evening, then you will be picked up by the Maasai warriors to visit one of the few existing Maasai villages. You will have the Manyatta experience and Maasai dances. You'll go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Guided Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.

You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive around the park at 6:30 am, carrying a picnic lunch. This will allow you to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens between July and October. Also, you will have a better chance to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
