Arrival Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be warmly met by your driver-guide. After a short briefing, begin your scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, famed for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting).

Amboseli is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife — including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and countless bird species — and boasts one of Africa’s largest elephant herds, making it a true paradise for photographers.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, depart at around 4:00 p.m. for a game drive through the park. Return to AA Lodge Amboseli by 6:00 p.m. to freshen up, enjoy dinner, and relax for an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive at sunrise — the best time to spot wildlife and capture stunning photographs of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). The early hours often bring Amboseli to life, with elephants, lions, and countless bird species active across the plains.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, then head out in the afternoon to explore new areas of the park for more wildlife encounters and photo opportunities.

Departure Amboseli to Nairobi

After breakfast and check-out, depart Amboseli National Park for an early morning drive back to Nairobi.
Along the journey, you may choose to visit a Maasai village (optional, at an extra cost) to experience their vibrant culture, traditional dances, and way of life.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
