Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti/ Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Early in the morning at 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 10:40 am, your driver-guide will pick you up for a game drive in Central Serengeti. You’ll stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park and continue with the game drive until evening. Later, you will head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay. The Serengeti, a World Heritage Site, covers 15,000 km² and is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and about 500 bird species. The park is filled with herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the Dry season and supports resident wildlife like elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and rare oribi antelopes.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

You will depart from your accommodation after breakfast at 6:00 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about three hours to reach the Ngorongoro gate. Upon arrival, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its natural beauty and rich wildlife. Once you descend into the crater, you will have an excellent chance to spot the Big Five: lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards, and the rare black rhinos. Flamingos and other bird species can be seen around the crater lakes, while hippos enjoy the cool waters. In the afternoon, you will drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 pm. Upon arrival at 5:30 pm, our driver will meet and transfer you back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
