Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

We’ll pick you up in Nairobi early, whether from your hotel, residence, or the airport, and embark on our safari northbound to Lake Naivasha. The brief journey will see you pass through some stunning terrain, with ridges, rocky outcrops, and volcanic detritus all around. Next to Lake Naivasha is Hells Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya that allows cycling safaris.

After your morning of adventure, your driver will take you to your chosen accommodation inside the national park where you will be served lunch and given time to relax. The afternoon takes you on even more adventures, with a boat ride out on Lake Naivasha and chances to see the thousands of flamingos that flock here for feeding and mating rituals. A further walking safari on Crescent Island will give ornithologists a perfect chance to spot the famed birds of the lake.

Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll head straight up to Amboseli. Your day will be spent traversing the Kenyan countryside through the Great African Rift Valley and having a chance to appreciate the splendor of this most ancient of landscapes.

Lunch is served during your journey, and you’ll reach Amboseli National Park in time for dinner to be served in your camp or lodge accommodation. Take time to relax and rejuvenate before your day or exploration starts the next morning.

The day begins with an early start to give you a chance to see the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds roll in. Game driving is the order of the day, affording you ample opportunity to witness some of the awe-inspiring animals of the Amboseli. This park is famed for its herds of elephants.
And many more that your Kenyan safari guide will be able to adeptly assist you in spotting. Another chance to visit a village of the Masai is presented as an optional extra after breakfast. You will be greeted in the traditional way, with singing and dancing. You have a chance to explore their culture and traditions as nomads of the plains of Africa. For this activity there is an additional charge of US$20.

The final morning of your wildlife safari in Kenya begins with an early morning game drive, punctuated by scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro and opportunity to see the stunning wildlife for a final time on your luxury safari in Kenya. After your swansong to Amboseli the morning drive back to Nairobi will take you through the countryside, peppered with traditional homesteads. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you shall be dropped off at your hotel of preference for overnight stay.
