Day 1

Morning: After breakfast, drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Midday: Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic spot within the NCA, perhaps with views of the Rift Valley or on the way to Olduvai.
Visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum. Explore the museum exhibits showcasing incredible fossil discoveries by the Leakey family. Gain insights into human evolution through informative displays and expert presentations. View the gorge itself from a viewpoint.
Drive to the vicinity of Laetoli. You will typically see excellent replicas at the Olduvai Gorge Museum. Your guide will explain the significance of this site and how the footprints were discovered and preserved.
Visit the unique Shifting Sands, witness this geological phenomenon as the dunes slowly migrate across the plains. It's a great photo opportunity.

Early morning: You'll be woken up very early and transferred from your camp/lodge to the balloon launch site in the Seronera area.
Sunrise: Experience the magic of a hot air balloon safari. As the sun rises, you'll gently float above the vast Serengeti plains, witnessing wildlife from a unique aerial perspective, spotting herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and possibly predators on their morning hunt. The sheer scale of the landscape from above is breathtaking.
Morning: enjoy breakfast served right in the bush, a truly memorable experience.
Late Morning: After breakfast, begin a short morning game drive in the Serengeti. This allows you to combine the aerial view with ground-level wildlife encounters.
