Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You'll have an early morning pick-up from the hotel and drive along Mombasa Road. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, and the highest peak on the African continent. The park is also famous for its big herds of elephants. You'll arrive at the AA Amboseli lodge for lunch. You'll check in and have a short rest before departing for an evening game drive at the park. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Early morning game drive to get a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and also a chance to view the park from the viewpoint. On this day, you can choose to have a full day game drive with picnic lunches or morning and afternoon wildlife viewing.
Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Left untouched by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

On this third day of the safari, you will wake up early for an early morning breakfast, then drive to the park for an en-route morning game drive as you exit the park for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have lunch midway, as from Amboseli National Park to Lake Nakuru is a long drive of approximately 6-7 hours. You'll arrive in Lake Nakuru National Park in the late afternoon for an afternoon game drive. On the game drive, you will enjoy beautiful sights of Lake Nakuru filled with pink colored flamingoes and also view animals like zebras, giraffes, and many more. After the game drive, you will drive to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you'll depart the Lodge and drive (5-6 hours) to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll check in at the lodge and have lunch. Later, after lunch and a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, known as the best safari destination in Africa. Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Wildebeest traverse their plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages of the Maasai people.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mara Sopa Lodge.

On this day, you will have an option of either a morning or an afternoon game drive or a full-day game drive with packed lunches. You will also have an option of visiting a cultural Masai Village, which can be arranged by the driver guide at an extra cost. This visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. The Masai Mara is one of the wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, with its populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African bush elephants.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
