Begin your day with an early morning pick-up for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, located across the equator and south of Lake Bogoria in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through this world-renowned park, famous for its stunning flocks of flamingos that often form a brilliant pink halo around the lake’s alkaline shores—one of nature’s most breathtaking sights.
Lake Nakuru is also a designated rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black rhinos and 60 white rhinos, making it a critical center for rhino conservation. Beyond rhinos, the park is rich in wildlife, including lions, buffalo, zebras, and an impressive array of bird species. As you explore the park’s diverse habitats, you’ll be immersed in its vibrant natural beauty. After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
