Day 1

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya.

Clear Kenya Immigration. Canadians passport holders require a visa, which must be applied for online prior to travel. Kenya visas cannot be obtained on arrival in Nairobi. You will be denied boarding of your flight to Nairobi, if you do not have a visa issued prior to departure.

Once you have collected your luggage, make your way outside the terminal. You will be met in the arrival meet & greet area by a driver. You will be assisted to a private road transfer to Crowne Plaza Hotel - 10minutes drive.

Day 2

Nairobi

Check out of the hotel and at about 10:00am, you will be collected from the hotel by a driver, for the road transfer to The Emakoko. First, you will stop at the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, to meet the baby orphaned elephants at 11:00am. The Sheldricks visit ends at noon. *payment to be made direct.

After the visit to Sheldricks, you will be driven through Nairobi National Park. Arrive at The Emakoko in time for lunch and an afternoon activity. Settle in, and in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, for your first real safari experience. You have a chance to see rhinos and possibly lions in Nairobi National Park.

Day 3

Chyulu hills National Park

Chyulu hills National Park

Early morning at about 6:00am, you will be transferred by road to Wilson Airport (30minutes away).

Connect with a scheduled SafariLink flight air flight to Chyulu, departing at 7:30am. On arrival at the Chyulu airstrip at about 8:00am, you will be met by a guide for a game drive transfer to Ol Donyo Lodge - enjoy the morning on game drive and getting acquainted with the area. You are now on safari, and should expect to see wildlife a long the way! Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon safari activity.

Ol Donyo is known for its elephants, giraffe and views of Kilimanjaro. Cheetah are often see out on the plains.

Enjoy two days of safari activities from Ol Donyo.

Day 4

Lewa Conservancy

After breakfast at Ol Donyo, you will be transferred to the airstrip. Connect with a scheduled SafariLink flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, departing at 8:15am. This flights stops at Amboseli enroute. On arrival at Wilson, change for the SafariLink flight to Lewa departing at 10:20am - SafariLink staff will be on hand to assist. On arrival at the Lewa airstrip in the late morning, you will be met by a guide for a game drive transfer to Lewa House. Arrive at Lewa House in time for lunch and an afternoon safari activity.

Enjoy two days of exciting safari activities on the Lewa Conservancy, including game drives, visit to local communities, walks and more. Lewa is known for its rhino conservation, and you will see both varieties here - black and white rhinos. Mt Kenya is visible across the plains.

Optional additional activities include horse back safaris.

Day 6

Samburu national reserve

Pack your bags and an early breakfast, then you have game drive transfer to Lewa airstrip, where you will meet a pilot for a Scenic Air private charter flight to the Kalama Conservancy departing at 9:00am. On arrival at the Kalama airstrip at about 9:15am you will be met by a guide for a game drive transfer to Saruni Samburu, arrive later in the morning and in time for lunch and an afternoon safari activity.

Two days of exploring the more arid Samburu region, where local tribes live in close proximity to wildlife. The experience at Saruni, is a combination of cultural and wildlife experiences. There are a wide range of possible activities, including game drives, visit to Samburu village, the photographic waterhole hide, the warriors academy for children, hikes and more. Please note that some activities are an optional extra - such as scenic helicopter flights, visit to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary.

After an early breakfast at Saruni Samburu, you will be transferred to the Kalama airstrip. Connect with a scheduled SafariLink flight direct to the Masai Mara (1hr30min flight) departing at 9:30am. This flight may stop in Nanyuki enroute.

On arrival the Kichwa Tembo airstrip at about 11:00am, you will be met by your Angama Mara guide, for a game drive transfer to the lodge. Arrive at Angama Mara in time for lunch, and an afternoon safari activity.

Enjoy three days of exceptional game viewing in the Masai Mara Reserve, where predators such as lion, cheetah and leopard are often seen. August is typically migration season, and when the huge herds of migrating wildebeest arrive in the Mara, it can be an incredible time to be here. Activities include game drives, picnics, visit at Masai village, beading studio, photography studio and camera rentals. Optional balloon flight over the Masai Mara is an optional extra.

After breakfast at Angama Mara, you will be transferred to the airstrip which is 40 minutes away. Connect with a scheduled SafariLink flight to Wilson Nairobi, departing at about 11:00am. Scheduled arrival at Wilson is about 12:30pm - this flight includes stops at other Mara airstrips, to collect other passengers. On arrival at Wilson you will be met by a driver for a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

You have the vehicle for the afternoon, and can stop for lunch or dinner at a local restaurant before transferring to the international airport.
