Famous for its massive elephant herds, Tarangire is a haven for wildlife, set against a backdrop of dramatic baobab trees, sprawling savannah, and seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts a variety of animals, especially during the dry season. As you explore the park on a game drive, keep your eyes peeled for lions on the hunt, leopards resting in the trees, and countless species of birds and grazers like wildebeests, giraffes, and zebras.

Day 2
Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, we’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Crater, known as the largest intact caldera in the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." The crater floor is teeming with life, home to around 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted by the abundance of species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. After a thrilling day of wildlife encounters and a picnic lunch in the heart of the crater, we’ll ascend the crater walls and drive to Karatu, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. Day 3
Lake Manyara national park to Arusha
Lake Manyara national park to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch boxes for a final day of game viewing. Although compact, this scenic park offers incredible ecological variety, ranging from dense groundwater forest to open savannah and the soda lake itself. Lake Manyara is especially famous for its tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging in acacia trees, and its large troops of baboons, which may be spotted playfully following your vehicle as you enter the park. Keep an eye out for elephants, hippos, zebras, and a vibrant array of birdlife, including pelicans, storks, and flamingos near the lakeshore.
