Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, where you will be warmly greeted by our friendly Acatree Tours and Safaris representative. After a short briefing, settle comfortably into your safari vehicle and enjoy a scenic transfer to Arusha, the vibrant safari capital of Tanzania.
Spend the afternoon on a guided Arusha town tour, exploring the city’s lively markets, cultural landmarks, and unique local art. Visit highlights such as the Maasai Market, the renowned Cultural Heritage Centre, and the tranquil Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you can savor a fresh cup of Tanzanian coffee.
After the tour, depart Arusha and drive to Karatu, a picturesque town surrounded by lush highlands near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening preparing for your upcoming safari adventure.

After an early breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Africa’s most stunning natural wonders. Descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Spend the day exploring this breathtaking haven, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s diverse habitats—ranging from open grasslands to acacia forests and soda lakes—provide exceptional opportunities for photography and game viewing.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater as you take in the panoramic views and observe animals gathering around waterholes. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Karatu for a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Your final day begins with an early breakfast at your lodge, followed by a scenic drive back towards Arusha. Along the way, enjoy a fascinating stop at the renowned Meserani Snake Park. Guided by knowledgeable staff, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about various snake species, including both venomous and non-venomous varieties, and even experience holding a live python — a thrilling and educational moment.
After this memorable visit, continue your journey with a comfortable transfer to your next destination.
