Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport - Drive to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, our driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will meet our driver-guide for a briefing on your safari. Your guide will then pick you up and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park for a game drive, accompanied by a picnic lunch box. Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and our overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its biodiversity, featuring large elephant herds and a diverse range of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannahs, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

Transfer from Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will depart for Ngorongoro for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes. After the game drive concludes, you will return to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, making it one of Africa's natural wonders. It is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals resident year-round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (including flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Once we finish the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, where the safari ends.
