You will be picked up from the advised location (Arusha town, hotel, or Kilimanjaro Airport) and driven to Arusha National Park. Despite being Tanzania’s smallest park on the northern circuit, it offers a rich variety of habitats lush forests, open savannahs, and the alkaline Momella Lakes. Enjoy a relaxed game drive with chances to spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Optional walking safaris with a park ranger can be arranged depending on park conditions and guest interest. After your game drive, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant populations. This park offers fantastic birdwatching and chances to spot big cats, giraffes, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. You will enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch served at a scenic spot within the park. In the late afternoon, proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater - Back to Karatu
Ngorongoro Crater - Back to Karatu
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a six-hour game drive inside the world’s largest unbroken caldera. The crater hosts almost every species found in East Africa, including rhinos, elephants, lions, hyenas, and more. You’ll have a picnic lunch at the designated site near the hippo pool. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and rest.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National park - Back to Arusha
Lake Manyara National park - Back to Arusha
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, a green paradise with a groundwater forest, flamingo-lined shores, and tree-climbing lions. After a rewarding morning game drive and picnic lunch, you will drive back to Arusha in the afternoon. Drop-off will be at your hotel or airport, depending on your onward travel plans. This marks the end of your Armadillo Adventures safari.
