Program of the Day: Today, our friendly driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast. After a short safari briefing, you will depart for the breathtaking Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour scenic drive from Arusha, for a full-day wildlife game drive.
The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the parklands and serves as the only reliable water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to open savannah.
During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck, you may witness lions stalking their prey or leopards resting gracefully in the trees above. The park offers an unforgettable safari experience filled with spectacular scenery and remarkable wildlife encounters.
