Flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park (Seronera)

In the early morning at 6:00 am (pickup time may vary depending on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), your driver will take you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Central Serengeti (Seronera Airstrip). Upon arrival at 10:40 am, your driver-guide will welcome you and begin your game drive.

Central Serengeti is renowned for its incredible wildlife, especially the Big Five. The region hosts one of Africa’s largest lion populations—over 3,000—along with elusive leopards and around 1,000 African elephants. This area offers one of the best chances to see the Big Five in their natural habitat.

You’ll enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site in the park. The game drive continues through the afternoon and ends around 4:00 pm. Dinner will be served at the lodge between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Ngorongoro’s main highlight is its vast volcanic crater—the world’s largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. Measuring 20 kilometers wide and 600 meters deep, it spans 300 square kilometers and is teeming with wildlife. You'll visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake known for sightings of black rhinos, flamingos, hippos, and other water birds.

Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring this unique ecosystem. In the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. An early arrival is recommended so you can relax and take advantage of the lodge's amenities, including a swimming pool and stunning views over Lake Manyara.
