Day 1

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or from Kilimanjaro International Airport. After a short safari briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants.

The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it one of the best places in northern Tanzania to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many species of antelope.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive exploring this beautiful landscape.

In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu where you will relax at your lodge after an exciting first day on safari.

After breakfast, depart early for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive passes through the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering spectacular views of the crater rim and surrounding landscapes.

Upon entering the Serengeti plains, wildlife viewing begins immediately. The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous ecosystems and home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Start your day with an early sunrise game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. This is the best time to witness predators such as lions and cheetahs returning from the hunt while the plains come alive with movement.

After breakfast at camp, continue exploring the Serengeti while gradually heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large migrating herds.

In the late afternoon arrive at Simba Campsite on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will enjoy spectacular views over the crater and the surrounding highlands.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience.

Often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Within this natural amphitheater you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your game drive across the crater floor.

In the afternoon ascend the crater and return to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. This beautiful park sits at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is known for its lush forests and diverse birdlife.

Lake Manyara is home to over 400 bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the famous tree-climbing lions.

After a picnic lunch in the park, begin the drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
