Zanzibar to Mikumi
Zanzibar to Mikumi
Start your day with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi Airstrip (approx. 1 hour). Upon landing, your private safari guide will pick you up in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. You'll head to your lodge just outside the park for check-in and a delicious hot lunch.
In the afternoon, visit a nearby Maasai boma, where you’ll be welcomed with traditional dances and get a glimpse into the daily life, customs, and culture of one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes.
Return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful night under African skies.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park
Wake up early and set off for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, known for its open plains and rich variety of wildlife.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and hippos. Your guide will take you to key hotspots like the Mkata Floodplain, the hippo pool, and the Chamgore area for optimal wildlife sightings.
A packed picnic lunch will be served inside the park. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 3
Mikumi to Zanzibar
Mikumi to Zanzibar
After breakfast and a relaxed morning at the lodge, your guide will transfer you to the Mikumi airstrip for your midday flight back to Zanzibar. Arrive in the early afternoon with unforgettable memories of southern Tanzania’s landscapes and wildlife.
