Arrival at the international airport of Ivato-Antananarivo. Upon arrival, you'll meet with our staff at the customs area. You'll get assistance with visa delivery and luggage formalities. You'll transfer to your hotel. Accommodation on a half-board basis at your hotel or similar.

Day 2
Antananarivo - Morondava

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport Ivato to join Morondava capital of the Sakalava people. You'll arrive and be welcomed by your guide and your driver at the aiport then transferred to your hotel. There's a possibility for a city tour or a visit to the market. You'll check in at your hotel after a 15-minute drive.

Day 3
Morondava - Bekopaka Tsingy of the Bemaraha

You'll have breakfast at the hotel, leaving for Bekopaka with a short stopover in Baobabs Twin, the Avenue of Baobabs. After three hours’ drive, you'll transfer by ferry to Tsimafana/direction to the village of Belo sur Tsiribihina, where you will have lunch. After lunch, you'll have a four-hour drive to get to the village of Bekopaka in Bemaraha. On arrival, you'll check in at the hotel.

Day 4

Explore Bemaraha National Park
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you'll have a full day to visit the big Tsingy (17km from the village +/-2hours by car). Tsingy of Bemaraha is a world heritage site covering 152,710ha, the southern half being the national park. It is the second-largest protected area on the island. An extensive area of limestone massif has been eroded into Madagascar`s largest and most impressive pinnacle karst (Tsingy). There's a chance of seeing Decken`s Sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, fat-tailed dwarf lemur, and western ring-tailed mongoose during the picnic lunch. Happen upon Coquerel`s coua, crested coua, greater vasa parrot, Madagascar green pigeon, and Madagascar flycatcher also.
After the visit, you'll go back to the hotel and have a swim in the swimming pool. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Admire the Small Tsingy of Bemaraha
Admire the Small Tsingy of Bemaraha
You'll take a traditional canoe, then follow the Manambolo River cuts of a spectacular gorge through the limestone. Around the karst grows deciduous forest dominated by Dalbergia, Commiphora, and Hildegardia species, and in shady canyons, pandanus and ferns flourish. Don`t forget the Vazimba`s tombs (ancestors of Madagascar), caves of stalactite and stalagmite. You'll go back to the hotel and spend the afternoon free.

Back to Kirindry Reserve

After breakfast, you'll be leaving toward the south to get to the Kirindy forest. This can be one of the most rewarding wildlife locations in Madagascar, yet it has only recently received official conservation as part of the Menabe region protected area. Although previously logged, Kirindy remains the best place to see several endemic dry forest species like the giant jumping rat, narrow-striped mongoose, fossa, Madame Berthe`s mouse lemur, verreaux`s sifaka red-fronted brown lemur, rufous vanga, blue vanga, Madagascar hognose snake, and plated lizard. You'll arrive around two in the afternoon. You'll check in at the hotel before going night walking in the forest.

Kirindry Forest - Avenue of Baobabs - Morondava
Kirindry Forest - Avenue of Baobabs - Morondava
You'll have a morning visit to Kirindy Forest. Kirindy comprises some 10.000ha of deciduous forest growing on sandy soils of the western coastal plain. The tree species are similar to other western deciduous forests, with a canopy height typically of 12 -15m, reaching 20 -5m in more humid areas along watercourses. Beneath the canopy, throughout much of the forest, the understory and intermediate layer are densely vegetated. Three species of baobab live here: Adansonia rubrostipa, Adansonia Za and Adansonia grandidieri, the last being the largest of the baobabs, sometimes exceeding 30m in height. After the visit, you'll go back for lunch at the hotel and then a little break before taking a way to the sunset at avenue of Baobabs.

Day 8
Morondava - Antananarivo
Morondava - Antananarivo
After breakfast, you'll have a morning visit to the fishermen's village of Betania. Taking the traditional canoe to take that village, you will meet the people on the beach to prepare the fish, and go to the market. Prepare for the checkout. You'll be on your way to the airport, then back to Antananarivo. Arrival in Antananarivo will be followed by a meet and transfer to your hotel.

You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport. There's a possibility to do a city tour of the town and last shopping at the handicrafts market of La Digue before your transfer to the airport. You'll be assisted with your departure back home.
