Depart early from Dar es Salaam with a scenic drive toward Nyerere National Park. Pass through rural villages and landscapes that transition from coastal lowlands to the miombo woodlands of Selous. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp near the Rufiji River.

With fewer vehicles compared to northern parks, your wildlife encounters will feel truly exclusive. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue your safari until late afternoon. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, depart for Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a scenic drive that takes you from the dry savannahs to lush, green highlands. Known as the “Galápagos of Africa” for its unique biodiversity, Udzungwa is home to endemic monkeys, rare birds, and over 400 species of plants. Arrive in the afternoon, check in to your lodge at the forest edge, and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring the nearby village area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Trek through the rainforest to reach the stunning Sanje Waterfalls, one of the tallest in Tanzania, cascading 170 meters down the escarpment. Along the way, spot colobus monkeys, endemic birds, butterflies, and tropical flora. Enjoy a packed lunch near the falls with breathtaking views of the Kilombero Valley below. After descending, return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest, dinner, and overnight.
