Nairobi to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

Our safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a short briefing, set off on a scenic 5–6 hour drive through Kenya’s stunning landscapes—rolling highlands, bustling rural towns, and the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and check-in. After a brief rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the plains of Masai Mara. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and lions as your guide shares insights into the park’s diverse ecosystem.

Return to your camp for dinner and an evening spent soaking in the sounds of the wild.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, venture out on a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes, giving you the chance to explore the park extensively. Track prides of lions lounging in the shade, search for elusive leopards in the riverine forests, or witness crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River.

During the migration season (July–October), you may catch the thrilling spectacle of thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the river—nature's greatest theatre.
